Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using vectryn.dev, hosted Vectryn web games, and any products or services offered by Vectryn, an independent software brand operated by an individual developer ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site or any Vectryn product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, please do not use the Site or products.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Site or any Vectryn product you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Services

Vectryn provides:

  • Web games - free, browser-based games including:
    • Neural Match 2.0 - a cyberpunk memory and pattern-matching puzzle game with local progress, upgrades, settings, lore unlocks, and personal bests.
    • MoodyMazer - a daily mood-based maze game that tracks mood logs, streaks, local insights, virtual coins, cosmetics, and achievements in your browser.
    • Puzzlebinder - a daily logic-grid puzzle game for Sudoku, Latin Square, and Wordoku boards, with local progress, daily completions, streaks, personal-best times, hints, mistakes, and shareable results.
  • Newsletter - optional product and update announcements.

Showcase Apps: The Site also serves as a portfolio showcasing utilities and games such as Grid Master: Strategy Suite, ThreadSense, and Duplicate File Finder Free that may be published independently on platforms like the Microsoft Store and Chrome Web Store. Those products are governed by their own distinct EULAs and Privacy Policies provided at the point of download, and are explicitly excluded from these Vectryn Terms.

All services are provided "as is" and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or any Vectryn product for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our hosting infrastructure, or any connected systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Site without our written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any Vectryn software beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code through the Site.
  • Impersonate Vectryn or any other person or entity.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site - including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, game assets, code, and software - is the exclusive property of Vectryn or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written consent.

5. Games - Fair Play & Local Data

Our web games are intended for fair, individual play. You agree not to use automated bots, scripts, exploits, or other tools to disrupt the games, abuse the Site, or present manipulated share results as legitimate play.

Neural Match 2.0, MoodyMazer, and Puzzlebinder store progress, scores, streaks, settings, and similar game data in your own browser storage. Vectryn generally has no server-side visibility into that local data and cannot guarantee that we can verify, restore, reset, transfer, or adjudicate local scores, streaks, mood logs, puzzle completions, achievements, cosmetics, or personal bests.

You are responsible for your own browser and device storage. Clearing site data, changing browsers, private browsing, reinstalling a PWA, or using browser cleanup tools may permanently delete local game progress.

6. MoodyMazer Wellness Notice

MoodyMazer is a game and habit companion. Its mood prompts and motivational insights are for general reflection and entertainment only. They are not medical, psychological, therapeutic, or emergency advice, and they are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as app stores, GitHub, selected share targets, Vercel, or Google Fonts. These are provided for convenience or to operate the Site. We do not control third-party sites or services and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Visiting third-party links or sharing results to third-party apps is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL VECTRYN PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VECTRYN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES - INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL - ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE OR ANY VECTRYN PRODUCT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED EUR 100 (ONE HUNDRED EUROS), EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS NOT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter you consent to receiving periodic emails from Vectryn about product updates and announcements. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under any applicable mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
